How OMEGA can help

Water can appear some distance from where it enters a property. OMEGA reviews roof, wet-area and building-fabric leakage concerns before defining a treatment or repair scope. A useful starting point is the location of the mark, when it appears and any previous repair history. Assessment requirements depend on the construction and access available.

Good to know before we start
  • Rain-related, plumbing-related and condensation symptoms may need different reviews.
  • Existing finishes, membranes and drainage details influence the proposed work.
  • Testing, opening-up, reinstatement and any warranty terms are agreed for the particular scope.

Common questions

Quick answers before you decide. Anything else — ask us directly and a real person replies.

Ask OMEGA
Can you identify the cause from a photograph?

Photographs are useful for the first review, but they may not establish the source of a leak. OMEGA will explain whether further information or a site assessment is appropriate.

Will every leak require a complete waterproofing replacement?

No. The proposed approach depends on the cause, condition and extent of the affected system. A suitable scope is considered after review.

Can waterproofing be part of a bathroom renovation?

Yes. It can be coordinated with plumbing, substrate preparation and finishes as an expressly defined part of the renovation scope.

Why did my home leak in the rain?

Dubai gets few rain days, so roof and balcony membranes are often neglected. Blocked drains and cracked sealant are the usual causes — check before winter.

How long does waterproofing last?

A good membrane lasts 5–10 years; sealant joints need renewal every 2–3 years.

Do I need to remove tiles?

Not always. Some leaks are fixed with injection or re-grouting; a full membrane needs tiles lifted.
