Ask OMEGACan I enquire if I cannot find the source of a leak?
Yes. Tell us where the water appears and when it happens. You do not need to identify the failed component before contacting OMEGA.
Will the quote include making good the wall or floor?
Any opening-up and reinstatement should be identified in the agreed scope. We will not assume that a plumbing repair automatically includes every surrounding finish.
Do you work on building water systems?
Yes. Include the building type, the affected system if known and the contact responsible for access so we can review the requirement.
My water bill jumped — could it be a leak?
Yes. Turn every tap off and watch the DEWA meter for 10 minutes; if it moves, there’s a leak. We trace it with moisture and thermal tools before opening anything.
Who pays for plumbing in a rented home?
It depends on your tenancy contract. Minor repairs are often the tenant’s; major and wear-related repairs are usually the landlord’s. Our report states the cause so you can agree it.
