What an indicative amount tells you
OMEGA’s rate card helps you plan a described, ordinary scope. Published customer amounts include VAT. The Estimator totals priced items and identifies work requiring inspection separately; an unpriced item is not a free inclusion. The actual property, equipment, quantities, condition and access must still be confirmed before the job is accepted.
Why the inspection comes before the final quotation
We recommend the AED 200 inspection, including VAT, before finalising the quotation. It assesses the work and is separate from the repair price. The minimum work order is AED 500 including VAT. If OMEGA agrees to proceed from supplied information instead, additional findings can still change the scope; changes are explained and agreed before extra work proceeds.
Read the complete job, not just the replacement item
A water-heater replacement can involve compatible pipe connections, valves, access openings and ceiling reinstatement. A leak repair may need investigation before the damaged finish can be made good. Ask which associated tasks are included, which need assessment and what must be resolved before the quoted repair is sensible.
Compare the same specification
Two descriptions such as “paint a studio” can refer to different jobs. One may include walls only; another may include ceilings, repairs, protection and a different paint system. Compare measured surfaces, preparation, product and finish, coats, access and cleanup. The painting quotation guide below provides a detailed checklist for comparing Jotun Fenomastic and National Paints specifications without assuming the brand alone determines quality or price.
Understand cleaning within the work
Necessary cleaning is assessed with the service. Painting usually needs protection and cleanup; other work may need cleaning depending on the operation and condition. OMEGA does not sell deep cleaning as a separate service. Any indicative cleaning allowance is a planning estimate, not a substitute for the final assessed scope.
Check these items before you approve
A useful quotation makes the work understandable and gives you a way to compare later variations.
- Property and work locations, quantities and units.
- Included preparation, materials, labour and associated repairs.
- The specified product or suitable locally available compatible replacement.
- Access, permits and specialist services that need separate coordination.
- Total including VAT and any amounts still awaiting assessment.
- How additional findings will be explained and approved.
Keep the estimate and the final scope together
Use the Estimator to prepare a brief, then compare the written quotation against it. Ask about any change in quantity, specification or associated work. A website draft is not a booking, payment or confirmation that OMEGA has received the request; send the prepared message using your chosen contact method.
